Chris Garitee Announces His Candidacy for Westchester County Legislator
TUCKAHOE, NY – Christopher Garitee, local attorney, community leader, and resident of Tuckahoe, NY, announces his candidacy for a seat on the Westchester County Board of Legislators in the 10th District. Legislative District 10 covers much of the Town of Eastchester, including the Village of Tuckahoe, as well as northern New Rochelle. Garitee’s announcement took place in the Parkway Oval Park, a location he states he hold dear to him. During his speech, he was surrounded by some of his closest supporters including Eastchester Town Supervisor Anthony Colavita, former County Legislator Sheila Marcotte, his mother, who is an immigrant from Italy and is currently a small business owner, his sister, as well as various local leaders and members of the community.
Garitee plans to fight to make Westchester more affordable, controlling the out of control tax increases, overspending by the County Government, and pledges his support for law enforcement, whom he believes deserves more respect in the line of duty. Garitee will soon announce a kick-off campaign event, which you can find out more about on chrisgaritee.com.
